L.Guess Heritage since 1940
L Guess jewellers grew from a small shop in Whitton, Middlesex in the 1940’s started by Leslie Guess (as seen in the photo’s) He worked as a Watchmaker in the war and some years later decided to start his own business. His son Michael followed in his footsteps and went straight into the trade from school, later taking over the Whitton shop.
In years to come he decided to expand the business to the Sussex coastal town of Littlehampton. He liked the area so much he decided to relocate his young family to the coast and as his children grew older they too were given the opportunity to learn the trade.

Today L Guess Jewellers has a prominent shop and workshops in Littlehampton High Street. Collectively the family and highly experienced staff members at L.Guess have over 90 years of professional knowledge and experience. The underlying theme of L.Guess has always been of service, quality & care.
These principles have never altered and these same standards apply today, just as they did 60 years ago. It’s always hard to know how long a business can survive in these modern days with so many different ways of trading.
This web site is testament of just how L.Guess are grasping the modern ways of retailing but still offering the traditional values that are the hallmark of its business. We often say about businesses, use it or lose it, and this cannot be a more true statement about all the shops and businesses in Littlehampton.
